Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This explains what rizzher does with your information: what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to get rid of it. It covers the rizzher app and this website.
The short version. Your conversations with Mia are stored so she can remember them. They are sent to an AI provider to generate her replies. We don't sell anything to advertisers, we don't post anywhere, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.
1. Who we are
rizzher is operated by Snouper Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17147252), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Snouper Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
For anything about privacy, email support@rizzher.com.
2. What we collect
When you use the app
- Your account. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier and an email address. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address Apple gives us, never your real one.
- What you tell us during setup. The first name you enter, and the answers you pick about what you want to work on.
- Your conversations. The messages you and Mia exchange, in normal chat and in practice sessions.
- What Mia remembers. Facts you mention in conversation (for example your job, your city, something you did last week) are stored as short notes so she can refer back to them, along with a running summary of how the conversation has gone.
- Your practice results. The scores and coaching notes from practice sessions, and simple counts such as how many messages you've sent.
- Your subscription status. Whether you're on the free plan or paying, and when the current period ends. Card details never reach us: Apple handles payment.
- How you use the app. Events such as "sent a message" or "finished a practice session", linked to your account ID, through our analytics provider. They never include the text of your messages or your email address.
When you visit this website
- Request data. Our host records standard technical information (IP address, browser, page requested) to serve the page and keep it secure.
- Aggregate visit counts, with no cookies and no identifiers.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies. Details on the cookies page.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What | Why | Legal basis (UK and EU GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Account, conversations, memory, practice results | To run the app: to reply as Mia, remember your conversation, and show your progress | Performance of a contract |
| Subscription status | To give you what you paid for, and to enforce the free limits | Performance of a contract |
| Usage analytics in the app | To see which parts are used and where people get stuck, so we can fix them | Legitimate interests: improving the product. You can object at any time (see section 8) |
| Security and abuse prevention | To stop fraud, abuse and misuse of the service | Legitimate interests: protecting the service |
| Website analytics cookies | To count visits and see which pages are read | Consent, which you give or refuse in the banner and can change at any time |
| Support emails | To answer you | Legitimate interests: replying to your message |
Sensitive information
Conversations about dating can reveal things the law treats as especially sensitive, such as your sexuality, your sex life or your health. You never have to share any of it. If you do, we use it only to run the app for you (to reply and to remember), on the basis of your explicit consent, which the app asks for when you create your account. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account, which removes everything.
4. How Mia's replies are generated
Mia is software, not a person. Her replies are generated by a large language model run by Together AI. To produce each reply, we send that provider the recent part of your conversation, the notes Mia keeps about you, and instructions describing her character. The provider processes this on our behalf to return a reply, and is not permitted to use it to train its own models.
Because the replies are generated, they can be wrong, odd, or not to your taste, and nothing Mia says is advice. Please don't send her anything you would be uncomfortable having stored.
Who reads your conversations. Nobody at rizzher reads them as a matter of course. We look at specific messages only when you ask us to (for example to fix a problem you report), when we're investigating a report of misuse, or when the law requires it.
No automated decisions about you. The scores and coaching notes are feedback on your practice. We don't use them, or anything else, to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who else sees your information
We don't sell your data and we don't share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers, who may only process it on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Together AI | Generates Mia's replies | United States |
| Railway | Runs our servers and database | United States / EU |
| Apple | Sign-in, payments and subscriptions | United States / EU |
| RevenueCat | Keeps track of subscription status | United States |
| Mixpanel | App usage analytics | United States / EU |
| Vercel | Hosts this website | United States / EU |
| Website analytics, only with your consent | United States |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
6. Sending data outside the UK
Some of those providers are in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or by an adequacy decision, so your information keeps essentially the same protection it has here.
If you're in the EU, your information comes to us in the UK under the European Commission's adequacy decision for the UK, and anything we pass on to the United States is covered by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses, or by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it. You can ask us for details.
7. How long we keep it
- Your account and conversations: until you delete your account. Deleting it in the app removes your profile, messages, memory notes, practice results and session tokens immediately, and permanently.
- Analytics events: up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated.
- Support emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Records we must keep by law, such as payment records: as long as tax law requires, normally six years. These come from Apple and don't include your conversations.
8. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data, or send it to someone else in a portable format;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your data (the app does this instantly: Settings → Delete account);
- restrict or object to how we use it, including our use of analytics;
- withdraw consent, where we relied on it, without affecting what we did before.
Email support@rizzher.com and we'll respond within one month. We don't charge for this.
9. Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your data, tell us first at support@rizzher.com with "Data complaint" in the subject. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it, and tell you the outcome.
If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, or at ico.org.uk. You can also complain to the regulator in your own country if you're in the EU.
10. Age
rizzher is for adults: you must be 18 or over to use it. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.
11. Security
Connections use HTTPS, sign-in tokens are stored hashed and can be revoked, and access to the database is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a device lock and don't share your sign-in.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for anything significant we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
